A taste of the wild
Foraging Fundraiser
Saturday October 5, 10-11:30 am
Join us at Caravan Farm Theatre to learn about wild edible plants from local author Mikaela Cannon (author of BC bestseller "Foraging as a Way of Life"). Learn to identify common wild edibles and sample treats from the wild. Mikaela has been teaching classes on sustainable foraging and outdoor skills in the Okanagan for a decade. She loves sharing her passion for nature and how to protect it. The band "Treebirds and the Leaflings" will share some live music to go with your wild tea and treats.
Family friendly. Open to all. Admission is by donation. All proceeds go to support Caravan Farm Theatre. Suggested donation is $20/person.

The Woven Words Sisterhood presents the first annual (we hope) Enderby Lit-Con. This event is geared toward book lovers in all forms! It's a bibliophile bonanza—think Scholastic book Fair meets networking luncheon meets craft market. We aim to celebrate authors, writers, and bookish creators while bridging the gap between local talent and readers who have yet to discover them. All reading is good reading, and at Enderby Lit-Con, we hope to have something for everyone, no matter their genre of choice. Come by, stock your bookshelves, meet some Canadian talent, and learn something new!
